Just looking at one of my TD seedlings (week old) and I can see some tiny white specs on the 2 fan leafs could this be spider mites? I have shaken the seedling with white paper under it and can't see nothing...

where it is still small just squish them with your fingers and check bottom of leaves for white eggs along the leaf main vain. Then rinse with water and recheck after 3-5 days... My advice is to get some azamax and/or neem oil asap. It is worth having on hand incase, trust me I know first hand. Hope you figure it out bud....
Nice Username lol did you try just ''thinkdifferent'' before MR. TD

does your camera have a ''macro'' setting. looks like a flower on the button

Take a magnifying glass and look on the under side of the leaves. If it is mites, you'll see them. Also, are there any insects flying around your plants? White flies can lay eggs on the leaves and they look like small white specs.

Hi Muddy! I've just ordered one now for that reason and for harvesting but I got a cotton bud and and rubbed it and the white specs came off :S must of been eggs! well it was real cold today so I brought them in from the greenhouse to my bedroom window but there well could of been insects in the GH! what would you recommend to get rid of mites in your opinion ?

Thanks!

neem oil can be used as a dunk, root drench or foliar spray... Just mix your solution as it says on bottle with a little bit of liquid dish soap I use 1/4-1/2 tsp per quart of solution. The when lights are out or about to go out spray undersides of leaves and tops, and/or feed neem to your soil is it was a bad infestation. It treats the leaves so spidermites wont feed on them and what mites get sprayed and there eggs wont grow and reproduce. You will want to treat every 3-5 days 3 times at least then just use it as a preventative
