Hey Everyone,

Currently growing CandyCane Autos, never grown Autos before only photoperiod feminized.

600w HPS 14-18" from canopy
6" Exhaust removing hot air from tent and 4" bringing in fresh air plus a smal fan to circulate air.
4x4x7 Tent
Canopy Temp 78-83
Ambient 76
Humidity 40-50%
3 Gallon Smart Pots
Promix HP
City water 25-50 ppm
Water after nutes PH'ed to 6.2-6.8 room temp and the water sits out 24hours prior to adding nutes and watering.

Also did a PH water flush about 7 days ago.

I followed GH drain to waste at slightly under half strength. Two plants are small but look great and are budding like crazy, the other three I'm not too sure about...I've done a lot of looking around at what could cause a few plants to look so bare and light green, but was hoping for some opinions. Im sure I've overwatered a few of them and the are slowly recovering im just wondering if I should cut my losses. It's Day 51 for this Candy Cane grow. I'm not looking to advertise my IG but for a lot of pics or to follow what I'm doing you can look at it :

Or see the pictures. Any thoughts?? They look a bit yellow/ light green, I'm seeing it all over the plant. And two of them look stringy and unhealthy fan leaves. Some have shown spots like a rusty colour. Also yellowish leaves and dark reddish stems.

:toke: -- I think the light is still too close mate,.. these symptoms look like light/heat stress, which causes troubles with transpiration,.. ambient T and RH% are one thing, but close proximity at the tops can be higher,... any bad combo of light intensity, higher heat, low RH% and strong air movement can lead to the type of stress that causes the leaves to struggle with cooling, moving water,... past a point, the plant may even shut the stomata up to prevent catastrophic water loss,.. this halts the flow of water and nutes from the roots up,.. transpiration is key to this,.. it can cause weird defc. symptoms,... or sometimes before that happens, even toxicity symptoms may show with some like K, as the water demand becomes super high and a lot of nutes are getting dragged along and building up,...(K is odd in that both the defc. and toxicity symptoms are similar, browning out at the margin "teeth")... think i see some in the one pic,... Try raising the light up to 24",....

Thanks for the reply! I'll try that and report back.

@Waira

They are starting to turn green again So thanks for the advice. I'm due to water tonight...heard so many things on nutes and strengths to give ( 1/4 or 1/2 ) or to water with nutes every other time. What's your opinion on that due to the current condition of the foliage?

@Waira Essentially, it's HOG three part series. Very similar. With Remo Calmg

@Waira

Here's a look at a few of the plants. One has really small bud sites and long stringy branches ( should be the first three in the pictures) compared to the others really small fan leaves too. At almost 60 days should I cut my losses on this plant or let it finish? The last picture is Candy Cane but it's filled out and looks pretty good.

The plants were struggling and maybe it's too late...first time at growing autos so I might have ruined the plants....

they're eating the fans a bit fast, likely from the light feeding,... as mentioned, more PK or a booster can help,... buds are still very young, lots of filling out to do potentially,... is CC a sativa dominant strain? What breeder? Some pheno's that are more leggy and bud-wispy than others may be showing this,....she may take longer as well,but no reason at all to bail out man! Feed more, and watch those tips for signs of burn,... checking the actual in-pot pH would be wise too,.... either a decent pH probe (Accurate 8 is a good one), or the dubious run-off method... ( https://www.autoflower.org/threads/...-for-run-off-testing-and-ph-estimation.41733/ )--- this is an improved one,... straight run-off is very crude, but at least if that shows far off pH, likely it is in the pot as well,....

@Waira

The Ph run off pretty much reads the same as what goes in. They are recovering nicely and due for some water I'll up the nutes a bit and watch the tips. Raising the light helped.
