Hi some of the plants in my room are wilting while others aren't.
The wilted ones are the ones with brownish parts of stalk which is thinner than the rest of the stalk.

These symptoms sound like they're damping off?

Please see the pictures any advice Is. Priceless..

Is there any treatment.

Will this spread to my otter healthy plants?

Plants still seem to be growing although new growth is yellowish.

EDIT: Thanks Muddy... you hit "send" first. :D Better advice, too.

Thought this was an interesting little tidbit that addresses something I've seen debated over and over:

"Seeds must not be covered more than 4 times the thickness of the seed." :peace:

silent bob did I read right in another thread that your running a dwc without a airstone? if thats the case all your plants will end up like this untill you have enough air in your water, also the brown thin bits on the stem sound slike there going past the recoverey point....

Should have looked closer. Didn't notice they were in hydro.

Thanks for the advice and link.

Yep their in hydro. Nft .. Using airstones but had them in their without airstones for first week.

So I mix the solution and spray the whole plant or just the stalk?

Also can I spray the healthy plants as prevention method?

Does this disease spread to all the plants in the system as some look healthy..

I didn't realize you were growing hydro when I made that post. I've only used peroxide as a preventive in soil. I'm not certain if the same fungus that cause it in soil can be present in hydro. It certainly won't hurt the plants. I use a daily spray during the first couple of weeks until they become established.
