What up, folks?! Went to the first seed swap in DC, and it was BANANAS!! It was held at this little bar called Libertine, and the line was crazy!! I went there with the sole intention of getting more beans, but ended up giving out waaaaay more than I got! I couldn't help it. I gave beans to old ladies that were standing in line in hopes of getting ONE free seed! That's all they wanted! ONE! I ended up giving the two of them 10 beans, and received some heavy flirting in return! Nothing like an old lady putting the moves on you in public! I gave beans to as many people as I could! It just felt festive, and I couldn't help but help out as many as I could. Made some connections, too! It felt good to have a member of NORML pull me out of line and usher me into the bar, and straight up into the seed swap area! There was a line outside the bar, and inside the bar, and I skipped both! Got upstairs and was greeted by some people I made contact with at the Cannabis Convention a few weeks ago, and was shower with some seeds! The atmosphere was great, and that special feeling was in the air! Again, the lowly auto got no respect. When I asked any of the guys giving out seeds if they had autos, I either got a blank stare in return, or got a response that basically said, "why would you even waste your time?" The people looking to get seeds, on the other hand, we're VERY interested in autos! I did my fair share of explaining the difference between autos and photos, and I could see that new growers will definitely give them a shot. Oh, to have the money to start a seed bank!!
