I am looking at using Deep Blue C for my first grow, I'd love to hear from others about their experiences with this strain, such as nute specific issues you may have seen so I can be ready to addresss them in rapid fashion (I want to be ready, as I know that with autos there isn't always a lot of time to address).

I am planning on growing in soil and picked up some Roots Organic nutes to start.

thanks in advance everyone,

PS - I would love to buy direct but as I am in the US my understanding is that doing US to US is riskier, mani bertter off going with a place like Seedsman?

Welcome welcome!
First off, what size setup do you have or are thinking of using? How many plants did you want to do?

Pretty small to start, I found 55 gallon totes and am going to get two of those and looking at LEDs for lighting. The totes are 46" long 20" high and 21" wide. Probably going with two plants to start.

I am also debating smart pots or air pots.

I use both - they both have they're pros and cons - Smart Pots are super breathable but can become uneven soil wise due to the fabric not maintaining a shape , creating these little soil fault lines if not careful. Air Pots are also super breathable and because it's a container you don't have to worry about the uneven soil - BUT - the blue plugs that connect the pots tend to spout out water and soil from them which can be a drag inside a Grow tent

Now, as far as strains, I haven't dealt with Deep Blue C - but I would certainly investigate Sour Livers as it's an evolution of the Blues cut crossed with Sour Crack. Look in the mephisto forum here and view their strain guide if you want some direct info on Grow behavior
