Hi guys,

it's my first grow this year. I got 3 Auto White Widows (Pyramid Seeds) and 2 Auto AKs (GRASSoMATIC) on my balcony.
All in all they are doing pretty well I think, but the leaf tips on the WWs started to brighten up two days ago. (image 1+2)
I searched the Internet but still dont know what kind of symptom this is.

Image 3 is a top view of the WW she's 24 days old now. Also it rained alot in the last two days and she got a bit over-watered, but i tiped the water out of the pot trays right after the rain stopped so she should be better soon. What do you think?

Also one AK has these curly white/goldish/brownish spots, more on the lower leaves (image 4).
This started already in the first week. I treated her like all others so i thought it was normal. Also the first leaves she got had no leaf tips at all, they were just flat, like cut off at the end. I thought these teething problems will pass by itself.

I'm not a native english speaker so sorry for my mistakes.

Looks like this

Neem oil treatment and diatomaceous Earth should do well.

Spray the plant with the neem oil (follow directions)

The Diatomaceous earth can keep most of them from getting on your plant, cover (barely) your soil with powder.

My opinion

Should i see those little bastards sitting on her leaves? I want to feel certain before i start this treatment.

You can see them, but not all the time, and it looks like you only have a few of them, so if y ou treat, you will stop them basically before they get started. Not sure if it is the larvae or the adults who do the damage.

Neem is a good innoculant, and insecticide. Also, it is organic.

The Diatomacious earth is organic too. if you put it in/on the soil, then any soft and a few hard shell insects will be stripped of thier wax coating, and they cannot live without it. It has no smell or effect on the plant.

You can use it without fear, as your plant will like it. Even if you don't have pests.

Hope it helps

I was a bit scared at first, but your post calmed me :) thank you for your help!
I'll try to get this stuff asap, if not local i'll order it today.

You've an Idea what causes the bright leaf tips?

How much nutrients are you giving them? The light tips could be the start of too much.

Also curling down of the leaves is a symtom, and could mean a few different things incuding Over AND under watering.

Keep an eye on it, we will see what happens, and try to fix it when we know for sure, yes?

looks like leaf miners to me, too - otherwise plants look really good

The Soil is Plagron Grow-Mix, i also started to give them the half dose of Plagron Alga Grow with the last watering.

I think i'll give them ph regulated water when they need to be watered next time and keep an i on it. I'll post an update then :)

Again thanks to all of you, the fast and capable help of this community is unbelievable !!! :D
