Lighting Delicious Seeds cheese candy X 1

I haven't planted the seed yet, I will wait until my soil temp gets better, now about 63f. The seeds were freebies last year and one of them looks smaller than the other (right) so that one will replace a mig29 that didn't start well in my other tent. The set-up is just a little different than last (bluematic) grow, (4 was 2) 4ft t5's with 10000k bulbs and a ufo135w 7band led, 2X3X5ft tent with 6in duct booster extraction fan and one 6in clip-on fan, 5gal airpot with pro-mix ultimate (three days ago added 1/2gal water 3ml kangaroots 6.5ph), nutes and advanced sensi cal/mag grow and bloom, superthrive. Because of this cold weather I am going to start the plant on 24/0 lights and switch to 20/4 next week, I hope. Sometime between now and when this plant goes into flower I will get another led to use during flower, a rebuilt bs240uv or a new mars 300w. I have two bs240uv's and I like them but the mars are a great price and others have done well with them.

Thank you. I planted the seed yesterday and expect to see something by the weekend. I really like growing one plant, seem even though I have another tent going I find more time for this grow. I can try new things without risking my entire med supply and still keep within my elec budget. With this grow I hope to use the kangaroots pre-treatment to jump start the root development.

Day1 is here and the seedling looks ok. I have the 135w ufo at 16in for now, and temps are ok but humidity is getting too low (37-39%rh). I hope the kangaroots pretreatment of the soil will result in early root development. The other cheese candy thats' in with the mig29s didnot get the same pretreatment of the soil so maybe I will see a differance, both popped today.

Day 6 and there seems to be no difference at this stage between the pre-treated and just adding kangaroots after germination, right pic pre-treated. I gave a deep watering, about 5 qts of 5ml/gal kangaroots at 6.5ph with almost all of the last qt being run-off.

Day 11 and I may have over done the water, should have stopped at 1gal. The plant is fine but the soil is too wet to do anything with. I have added a pic of the other cheese candy (last pic) in with the migs (in a 3gal pot). I guess that still is the only real difference, one in a 5gal airpot the other in a 3gal pot. It will be a day or so before I can give this plant a shot of cal/mag grow so I have moved my circulating fan lower and have it helping to dry thing a bit faster.

Day 15 and the plant was ready for a half gal of 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.6ph. About 3in tall with a 10in spread in a 5gal airpot this plant is slightly wider than the cc in with the mig29 in 3gal airpots (last pic). It will be a while before I can give this plant a first feeding of nutes and the other has already gotten theirs' so I won't compare so much. The color is good and growth is Ok, temp 76-78f rh43-43%, lights still at 24/0 and 18in.

I have switched the 4 t5's from 10000k to 6500k grow and changed the light schedule to 20/4. I have also ordered a Mars 100X3w old model led to use for flower, should be here next week.

Day 21 and some vertical growth has started, at last, and I have given her 3qts of 5ml grow big, 10ml big bloom and 10ml kangaroots/gal at 6.6ph. The cheese candy in with the mig29s (last pic) has even less growth but seems to be getting ready for something. Just recieved the Mars 100X3w, three days!

Day24 and just wanted to post pic of "new" led and compare Cheese Candy from the larger tent. The light was a no brainer, new Mars old model 100X3w vs bs240uv rebuilt, both about $100.
