He lost me when he started saying PAR, PPF, and PPFD are the same, which I don’t think they are, otherwise they would have the same units: PPF is umol/s, and PPFD is umol/(m^2*s). (I’m using u to denote micro)
I was under the impression that PPF was the total amout of photons that a source emitted and that doesn’t translate exactly over to PPFD. That’s where our lenses come in; spreading those total photons over an area?
