Indoor *Diesel Ryder, White Russian (Fan Tuck & LST w/ PICS)*

Hey everybody,

First time grower here. Making a personal journal for myself to keep checks and balances. I have to ask a question here....So im in Day 14 and decided to:

1) gently zip-tie fan leave branches together, 2 branches on left side, and 2 branches on right side
2) LST. I anchored at the bottom and then after the 3rd node I tied it down from the top. I used some

Didn't want to wait until stem gets stronger, so decided to do it now. I used zip-ties for all fan leaf tucking on all plants. I then used a hangers on the DR's, and used zip-ties on the WR's. After applying, I LIKE the zip-ties for LST more as I seen the stalk of DR's get marred and seen dark green marks/scratches form on them 5 minutes later when I used the hangers. Hangers started to slip through and that's what scratched the stem.

Will the slight stalk damage create an issue? I mean the thing didn't break or snap or anything. It should just thicken at the sight of scratch, shouldn't it? I'm kind of pissed at myself, i mean i told myself, "look this is the first time, so be the fuk-careful" and sure enough I wasn't. Please help an AUTO brotha out!!!

EDIT:

Photo 1,2,6 are White Russians from seed. 6 still too short for LST measures. Started in 16 oz cups because they are unsexed.
Photo 3, 4, 5 are Diesel Ryder's from seed. You could see the damage on photo 4 from the hanger. Started in 3 gallon pots since they are feminzed seeds.

NOTE:

I will always use 3 gallon straight from seed from now on, I compared growth rates keeping everything the same and after 14 days, the 3 gallon plant looks more spread out and healthier looking than the 16 oz party cups.

I think it's already recovered!! Well not the stalk but all the small new internode leaves that were hiding under the fan leaves really blasted off in 1 day. I guess LST/Leaf tuck for AUTO's really does make a big difference for light penetration, didn't know it would work this fast tho.

Im in day 15 (Week 3) and I have NOT def any nutes and may still lay off the nutes for another week since I am in 50/50 OF & Light Warrior. I am about to go and buy some ferts as we speak, can't wait!! Should I wait another week, or should I give it a light dose of biobizz? If it's biobizz Ill give it a low dose this week, if I get foxfarm trio prob wait another week just to be on the safe side since it's pretty potent.

Day 16: None are sexed yet, but 1 of the white russians is developing either a calyx or a ball-sack!! They will wake up in a few hours so I will reinspect my plants genitals soon when the light turns on!!! lol

Do males sex faster than females? Im just curious because I seen no females and I believe Im seeing some balls that forming on quite a few of them

Can you guys please help me identify the sex on my plant? First time im doing this so I got some nice pics for you guys. Strain is White Russian Auto Lowlife Seeds on Day 16.

Is it worth taking outside and growing it to maturity, just to use it for ice hash? I know males have low thc but I heard when they mature the leaves do get pretty resinous! Never seen one so im oblivious!!

Or don't waste my time and just chop it?

Bummer dude, sorry to hear! And thanks for the luck! What strain did you have?

Hope that doesn't happen here or to anyone really!!! So far out of 4 White Russians, 1 didn't fully germ due to a slight crack, 2 males, and 1 potential female (fingers crossed). What an experience for me, not as I planned, haha. All good tho, im having fun and learning!! That's why I bought some Feminized Diesel Ryders, my lil insurance policy!!

How long can I wait for before the male pollen gets dropped from autos? I am on Day 18 and noticed some pollen sacs are opening? WTF?!?!?! I thought from the time they develop we have 10 days to chop them down before they open their sacs?

Please someone help me, im scared it released the pollen already.

Day 20 Update

Day 20 Update:

These are my 2 female Diesel Ryders!! They just received first low dose of organic nutes, biobizz grow & biobizz bloom, 1 ml of each per liter, and I checked PH and I didn't need to change since it's exactly @ 6.5 using Distilled Water. Runoff also at 6.5 using 50/50 OF/Light Warrior from seed. They really seemed to like it, as in it made them look slightly more vigorous within an hour!!

Plant on the right has shown pistils, but not yet on the left plant. LST was also maintained for proper light penetration.

Smell is getting bad in my room, like fuel & fruityness. Almost smells like a farmers market in my room, . I can't imagine how it will smell when im done!!! lol

I love this, it's soooo much fun!

All good thus far, but wish me luck into flowering!!!
