Hi everyone,

I thought Id share a really nice starter mix for anyone thinking about trying organics. You can do it one of two ways.mix all the hard materials(ie:Guano's,Kelp,Lime...ect..) for the full recipe found in the organics section here, and take a 5LB well mixed cut of the hard materials and add as follows.OR,buy a 5LB pre made packet from tlosoils and make the medium mix.

I find that roughly a 25-28 gallon mix is very good for auto's so far.sensetive..?ehhh,Id still use it just make the plug a touch bigger in your pot imo.Instead of using 5 gallons of soil,EWC and coco(or similar)I used 6 gallons of those and a few gallons of compost of quality and 5 gallons of perlite.mixed once well.sat for a week then mix fully again.corners and ALLL/mix it well at the week mark and check your moisture level and mix realllly well and back to the tote and in 35-40 days from THAT point, you'll be ready for some excellent growing.DO NOT push your blending/cooking times imo.30 days is flat bare bones minimum and you could be wasting your time.

45 days from start of cooking and mixed material(s).cal mag and some light feeder teas or what have ya if they need it or can go more is when you do top coating and ring layering.NEVER treat the surface of the entire pot.avoid the stalk always.

Hope this helps a few of you out.its theee easiest way your going to produce the meds you seek as easy as you need them.maintain your conditions to the best of your ability and you should have solid plants in a hot minute too.:smoke:

in recap: the 5LB packet and/or 5LB mixed cut of hard materials should be mixed as follows to start with imo.

6 gallon(i prefer a 5Gal bucket) of quality organic soil.dont need anything fancy,just decent.

6 Gallons of Earth worm castings.Freshness counts if ya can get it.

6 gallons of Coco Coir or Spagnum Peatmoss

and 5-6 Gallons of perlite.I use 5 gallons.6 is ok too.Horto grade, not enhanced with or any BS.

and I like to cut into the mix some Mushroom compost and a little cow compost(NOT dehydrated)..a cpl gallons of each and add hard materials and mix WELL!!! and voila.a mix a week L8r n there it is.your own Rev's 2.1 Master soil builder recipe from start to user ready.Above 65-70F and come in come in..the show is about to begin LOL!:smoke:

oh yeah,I enhanced one of my mixes with eggshells.my next one will be egg shells and crab shells n a few small nuggets of Lime for good measure.

yeah man.you can ideally build it for months growing your Mikes man.always have a fuzz n a small warmth to it for a long duration is awesome.Ive been doing that with my recycled revs mix for months now,so im excited to see it work.roots are all gone.love this mix man.Im glad it working out for you man!! have you had to supplement any big bloom or tea(s) for added growth?I did,but Im sure not all strains will take kindly to that LOL!

nice post eyes! I just mixed a batch of super soil the other day and I added aggshells this time too.
I also like to use oats and a little bit of dry malt extract as a catalyst to feed the microbes.

Just a little epsom 2 days ago...and an oatmeal wash made with only a pinch of oats a week ago..other than that plain water only..will give a light oatmeal wash again next week..very dilute..:Sharing One:
Evol..I noticed how effective the oat wash is when I dumped leftovers in my tlo bin and a few days later had a dense white carpet..

Rice wash would also work well.

Yeah I love the wash water's I use from living rain water with slight stuffs mixed with rice, oat and bokashi brewed as a quick hit n forget tea.LOL give that a go!!:Hookah:

and heck ya man, using just about all your leftovers put into the soil and mixed well or atleast the top 1/2 or 1/3 of the tote, depending on amounts ofcourse.should give you a blanket of fun over most of your top coating then mix that, daaang LOL!:smoke: but the microbes are there hands down.at that point its about adding the amounts to feed the plant and the amount of activity you want/need you mikes to have.in turn growing your plant.always a sweet mellow balance with the amounts in combination with the microbe population.

The Extras

And after you brew Tea's and make rice wash water and the like,or scrapings from the bucket when too if its a loose brewed tea too.but that will more than likely be very beneficial towards feeding the life in your soil and slightly adding to it as well.happy growing.and make sure you turn and mix your soil after the first week and after each several day period you add stuff.note the fuzz in the pics, you wanna break that up lightly and mix that all into your soil well and again check your moisture levels, and let her blend some more.

I did that very thing with my recent tea I made and added the mushroom and cow compost amongh the bits that were in there and I got an excellent boost for the bennies and soil activity.be good everyone.:smoke:
