I have six plants in a 20 gallon dwc tub and they just look a little funky to me, kinda light green.they are two weeks old at 260 ppm and 5.3 ph.been bringing the ph down and letting it drift back up.they are under a 400 watt mh.For nutes I am using cyco, part a has 4 % calcium, part b has 0.7% magnesium. Water is distilled. Do you guys think I need calmag?

If your foliage is lighter green it might need some nitrogen.Your part a should have enough cal/mag in it to be fine.

Welcome to AFN. A pH of 5.3 is a bit too low. If you look at this chart you can see that both calcium and magnesium are not available to the plant at such a low pH. What you have should be sufficient, once you adjust your pH properly. The light green color is probably from the low pH as well. Nitrogen is locked out at 5.3 and a lack of N will give that overall light green color.

Shoot sorry guys, I meant the ph is 6.3 right now.ill see if I can get some pics up tonight.

OK take a look please, they look too light to me, and there's a spot on one leaf not sure if I got that one in there.also the edges of the leaves are curling up some.they are 14 days from seed.

They look good to me. I always add calmag to my res. I run 66% of the recommended dose per gallon. Having said that I have yet to grow a run without burning the tips of some of my leaves. So stay tuned.

Looks like they could use a bit more N. Up the strength of your solution a bit. That should take care of the light color. That spot on the leaves could have been from a drop of water on the leaf. Good to see your pH wasn't that low, but 6.3 is a bit too high. Again, if you look at that chart you can see that at 6.3 both P and K are locked out. Cycling through the pH range is good but try to keep it in the 5.7 - 6.0 range.

The curling on the leaves could be heat stress. What are your temp and RH reading?

Temp at the plants fluctuates between 80-85, humidity has bee n up and down around here.20"s for a while now up at around 40%.

Temps are fine but the RH is too low. Ideally you want about 60% in veg and 40% in flower.
