New Grower Do nutrients expire after opening bottle?

I'm referring especially to organic nutrients, like algae mixes, fish extracts, etc.

Will they be no longer effective after a certain amount of time>? If so, how much time, more or less?

General rule of thumb is one year after opening on organic nutrients.
I personally use 8oz bottles to feed out of on the daily and refrigerate the remaining nutrients.
Keep the nutes cool so they don't go bad quicker.
