let them go untill they start getting what I call 'popcorn' buds on top of of each other.... if they will, mine did.... (see pics.) apx day.85 and still producing popcorn daily... the outside edges of the buds are purple but the insides are still green..so let them go longer! and don't stop feeding too early!.. I cut my first one of three almost a month ago thinking it was done WRONG! this one and the other one I'm letting go... 'ALL THE WAY' ..the green bulbs with white hairs are what I call the 'popcorn'..so I guess it's either doing good or it's been takin over by an alien! which ever I'm gonna hold on longer!

Yep. They're fox tails. I'm going to disagree that it's always a good idea to let them go. Just because they're still growing in this manner doesnt mean they're not finished.

They're called fox tails. Popcorn buds are the small, underdeveloped buds that form lower down on your branches where the light doesn't reach as well.

And I agree with Peekineeze, it's not necessarily the best thing to let them keep going and going. You should always base your harvest on the state of your trichomes and matching that with the medical benefit you're after.
