It's a two part review, meaning I got a sample of an AutoMazar and will get some more in some weeks, the second one is supposed to be better because of better OD conditions.
SeedBank : DutchPassion
Strain: Auto Mazar
Did it autoflower?: Y
Soil/hydro: Soil, OD grow with many issues
Nutes: have no idea
Light (kind and schedule): Vegged indoor, put outdoor in mid may
From seed to harvest date: No idea, but it might be around 75 days
Dry Yield: 1/3 of what was expected(poor weather)
High/Effect Duration:
Mellow, balanced high, felt it in the legs. Made me passive, kind of happy and laid back the mind. Duration - 1,5/2hours
BAG APPEAL: ***
green/greyish colour, dusted with trichomes, but not much of them. Regular looking bud of elongated structure, not airy but not dense.
THE GROWTH: ****
From what I heard the growth was mostly influenced by bad weather, so smaller plant and production, but survived nature's beating.
THE SMELL: ***/****
Smells like a sweet tea mix from the bag, when broken it goes a little skunky.
Very nice smell but can be better in better conditions.
THE SMOKE: ***
To be fair it was not a great smoke, but given the conditions in which it was grown, I'd say it was good overall.
At the first inhale I instantly remembered I smoked that weed before, the smell was the same and I didn't like it much. It was like church incense with mellow spicy undertones, definitely not my kind of smoke.
But I'm waiting for the next plant to finish.
THE HIGH: ***
The high was nothing special but somehow pleasant, I liked it made me comfortable on the couch, but not locked on it. Felt it in the legs.
The part I didn't like was setting back the mind, so left me quite uninterested and a bit sleepy.
I prefer more cerebral affecting smokes, more uplifting and activating the mind.
But overall it was a bit better than most weed I put my hands on this year.
There will be another review in this topic, of the same grower, but grown in more suitable conditions. I expect it to be way better.
Cheers!
