Growing under 400W LED plants will be sitting in a DWC bucket. I have everything as of now ordered, but I haven't been able to figure out which nutrients I will need for autoflowers? I understand you need to pH water, but like calmg, a whole line 1/4 strength, half strength, can someone elaborate please?

Thanks

Hi ok I use ionic grow for the first 50 days or so when she starts to flower say day 40 I still use ionic grow up to day 50 then move on to ionic bloom for the flowering stage and the last day i use final flush for 10 days

e.c. 0.7
temps 20 - 24
humidity 50 - 65%

you work your way up the e.c each week the most e.c i have pushed up to 2.0 for the last stage but she will tell you what she needs every plant if diffrent but most of my grows its been 1.8 ec when in flower

keep the ph at 5.8 or young plants i find 5.5 ph is good

Thanks for your reply, what are you referring to when you say "ec"?

EC = electric conductivity http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EC_meter systems to monitor the amount of nutrients, salts or impurities in the water!

If your EC is to high your plants get burn!
First test the ec of the water you are going to use!
use a basic mineral based line of nutes you need : rootstimulator, veg and bloom nutes, silicon, pk 13_14 and foilar feeding and ph down ( nitric acid during veg and phosphoric acid during bloom)

start = ec of water + 0.7-0.8 ec from nutes
first bucket rootstimulator some silicone(little-bit) and veg nutes, then adjust the ph to 5.7!

Thanks for clearing things up Soylent Green! What are good EC levels? Things have definitely been made more clear with your last post, just 1 more question I was having was I've read a lot of people measuring ppm's? Why is this? And what will fluctuate your ppm levels?

Also when the previous poster "newbud" is sharing his ec,temps, and humidity levels he states that he has his temps between 20-24 degrees. Im guessing this is Celsius?
