Hello gang!

As you'd might expect already, I'm not a happy camper if I'm I'm not trying to bend the principles of quantum mechanics... so here goes another nutty idea...


Cross name - Dutch Passion Auto White Widow

Lights Hours and Light.. - LEDs, 20/4 - but neglected at the bottom of the tent

Container & Medium - 2L Ikea Sandwich/Tupperware DWC hack - Root Riot Plugs

Nutes - Canna Coco, nutes and additive, Liquid Silicon & Sensi Cal Mag


PPM/EC - max 1.6

PH. In and Run-off - 6.2 - 6.4 flower

Germ Method - low cuts from lollipoping

Feeding Schedule - No rez changes, only top-ups

These were taken on Sept 9th,

took two cuttings directly into water and soaked with nutes from the main rez, inspected... chose the best looking after 3 or 4 days.

Sept 16th - I am shocked just as much as you guys. Straight cut into a root cube, no gel, strong EC (around 1.4, but I have to check logs)..

Sept 20th - move to other tent, where a week later I got a massive thrips infestation - I managed to contain, but she got shot

Go figure... no complaints at all! No burning tips, EC has gone up just like her sisters in the mean time, no rez change, must be a soup in there water temps must be really high...

I dont get it. I am TRYING to get problems to see them for real before my rdwc kicks into high gear, and nothing... There is absolutely nothing logical about all this, which is exactly why I am loving it and trying it for real, from seed !!
 
Well I finally got problems lool... I did a rez change and got distracted and forgot to refill and I basically let her dry up :Cushty:

Anyways, Round 2!

This time we have an AutoUltimate from seed. She was the smallest of the 5 that popped out, but was kept. She picked up pace and got exactly the same feed as her siblings. Heavens knows why see has serious cal mag issues (I think). Being fed Canna Aqua with rhizotonic but no cannazym yet. Roots are pearl white. pH 5.6 EC 1.0 which may seem high but background + silicon + 0.25ml/L cal mag makes up about 0.5 - 0.6 EC. These figures always worked for me in coco, and the big girls in the RDWC system seem to love it.

First set, then the second, then the third... I was waiting for her to kick out of it and grow proper before doing the nute switch, but she just keeps getting worse. So What the heck, rez change to Coco nutes, lets see what happens.

Looks like you have it under control Groff. Root system looks very nice.
