I am new to hydroponics and am trying to figure out if I want to use ebband flow or DWC. I see that most use DWC. is there a reason for this and what are some of the benefits and negatives of the Ebb and flow vs the DWC? Any info would be great thanks. Oh yeah one more question. I saw an ebb and flow with 2 gallon pots and 2 gallon inserts is this big enough to grow autos to full size?

Grow Mediums DWC vs Ebb and Flow

To my understanding the big difference between the two is that you need a pump and an air pump for flood and drain.
I use a single bucket DWC. It is a simple system but it matters what you are trying to do.
I am sure some of the other guys will be able to give a more detailed description of the two.
