So, I had two plants in my room, mid flower, 4 weeks in, 3 to go, with no previous signs of deficiency or root issues, pretty much just die. The leaves didn't discolor or curl in any way, they just fell, like the vascular pressure within the plant just disappeared. I'm running a perpetual grow, these two plants were cloned at the same time, everything before and after them are growing without issues, but I'm a tad scared at the prospect of plants just up and dying without warning.

Oh, almost forgot:

Galaxy God Bud
DWC
Advanced Nutrients with RO water @1400ppm
1000w hps, 4 plants under each.
75 degree room temp(at canopy, 70 degree reservoir temp.

Anyone have any thoughts?

did the plants actually die? are there any signs of root rot? was it before a dark period? are you planning on posting pics?

Wasn't an emergency, as the plants are already dead, but this is by far the most knowledgeable group I've found so I just thought someone may have encountered this before. I didn't take any pics...I've gotten rather paranoid about using gps enabled devices at the grow location. But to answer gbd. No signs of root rot, no infestations, nice white roots, I suppose technically it was before lights out, I spend hours 11 and 12 every day at the grow. I gave them a few days to see if they would recover, but they just continued to dry up, so, I disposed of everything related to the two plants and moved the other two from that set of clones to a separate area, so far nothing else has occurred. Generally it's a pretty boring grow, 4 plants a week, all clones, all on the same nutrient schedule, etc.

Wish I could help but I'm clueless on this and would love to know more about it as well .

dude that really sucks to have them die so far in, truly am sorry bro x_x...

I was reading a Lucas post on a forum the other day and I remember reading that totally healthy plants can die if you mix nutes directly in a rez with roots. Don't know if that's the issue, but I read you were doing dwc and just thought I would throw it out there.

Sorry again about your plants man :\ Really sucks!

dodgey pheno traits from the mother? not healthy enough?
