DIY E-Vape THC fluid

With the ever growing trendiness of E-Vapes I've decided to experiment with making my own THC fluid. it seems simple enough a little mono propylene glycol, a little vegetable glycerin, and some top shelf buds.
I ordered a small kit just to see how I like the results.

If all goes well I may order more in larger quantities from a different distributor. When my kit arrives Ill give a detailed update on the process.
If anyone has experience with this process please feel free to provide your input.

Hey Everyone,

WE have had spot discussions here and there. Sniper is also interested in this.

ONLY... we haven't found it to be so easy The trichomes get sticky/gooey and can clog the tank. Maybe the Propylene Glycol will do better in the recipe, we haven't tried it.

I've also tried this, unsuccessfully, but I now have some delicious Durban Poison flavored e-liquid! Best of luck evol, I'd love to find a recipe that works well!

The only thing that I think is odd is they say to decarb the buds.. Wouldnt the vape do that? I thought decarbing is only useful for edibles. I may do one batch decarbed and one not.


How did you all make yours?

How would you rate the effects from a scale of 1 to 10 compared to hitting a J?

I decarbed, put the buds in a blender, covered in glycerin and blended the piss out of it four times daily for 10 days and filtered it through a coffee filter. I did it based on an article I read with those exact directions, but felt little to no effect. I'd say I got a 0.5 on a scale of 1-10, but that may have been completely mental.

Oh I would definitely decarb first, in theory the vape pen could /would do it but I wouldn't want to count on it

As you can see in this graph, the amount of available THC in mg/g goes up based on temperature and time with there being a peak point after which you begin losing THC. If you don't decarb I don't think vaping will raise the temp enough, and/or for long enough, to fully release the carboxyl bound THC in the herb.

It tastes just like the bud I used smelled. The exhaled scent is barely noticeable and fades away in minutes, if not seconds.
