Hi everyone,

I have been reading many threads lately and finally pulled up my socks and created an account. I am a first time grower and starting small until I truly get the hang of things. All the threads i have read have been super helpful in starting my first grow. So this is the set up i have any advice is greatly appriciated you all seem awesome.

10 gallon bucket
microgrow organic soil mix
25% perlite mixed in
natural rock 3"in bottom of bucket with drainage holes put in
lighting 200 w Cfl lighting
2 fans running on low speed

also have thus far purchased:

PH pen
Moisture gauge tool for soil
alaskan fish oil (pre flower formula according to my local hydroponics store)
miracle grow starter formula
took my fish bucket aerator and have been using that in my water.

Since starting i have germinated my first seed afghan mass fem autoflower. Finally put into the bucket and soil yesterday morning. My room temp is 73 and humidity is 50%. PH of water i have put into the soil thus far has been 6.4 and run off has been 6.0.

Welcome to the Auto Network. Glad to have you and please, make yourself at home.

Few things:
10 Gallon is super overkill on Autos IMO. Max of about 5 really unless it's a Super Auto from Highrise or something.
No need for the rocks really and they can play with your Ph. :no:
Don't know anything about that soil, Autos like to be started in a light mix with very little nutes and just get plain Ph water for the first couple weeks.
2 fans. Is that exhaust and intake? Exhaust and inside circulation?
You may wanna bump your feed Ph up a bit since it's 6 runoff, that's a little low for soil. I would feed 6.65 next time. Maybe even 6.7.
Temps good, higher would be better actually. Humidity good. :thumbs:
