What size fan and filter would you use for a 1m2 x 1.2 x 1.5 tent setup ?

I'm looking to upgrade my setup so all input appreciated

Figure how many cubic feet your tent has than add about 25% to that and get a fan close to that number.

Is that meters or feet ?

the formula I kept finding [and used] was ...

W x L x H x 60 x 1.33

so ... 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.5 [tent dimensions]
x 60 [air changes per hour]
x 1.33 [allowing 33% for filter 'drag' and ventilation 'headroom']

= 115 m3/hour

Your filter will need to be at least equal to this - preferably >25% more so you're not running it at capacity.

There ya go yoz even did the math for ya :pass:

Thanks that's great. So I think my problem is my fan as it's 180m3/hr -33% loss on pressure drop/drag would take it borderline/just under.

180m3/hr should be fine.

180 m3/hr - 33% = 120 m3/hr
120 m3/hr > 115 m3/hr
