hey all, so were through the yellowing of the plants and we've got this far... Doing ok!!!
were now at the flowering stage and are led to believe the humidity should be around 40-50. were currently at 65.
question is where's the best place to have the fan. its in the back left hand corner clipped to the tent at about a third of the way up blowing at the bulb to lower the heat temp. would it be best on the floor... Do I need another?
Also, would lowering the extractor fan help reduce humidity. its at the top of the tent.
were open to all options!!

thanks

What's the humidity like outside the tent? Maybe if you increased your extraction it would work.

Also is your hydrometer calibrated? Some hydrometers can be 12% off. Google calibrate hydrometer. You do with with salt, water and a zip lock bag. Or you can buy this. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/281053291205?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

My point is maybe your humidity is in range and it's your hygrometer that's incorrect. Then again it probably wouldn't hurt to find out and lower your humidity if needed.

its in the loft and its pretty cool up there but i dont know the temp /RH
Good Idea to calibrate the hygrometer, seems easy enough to do yourself rather than spending the ££'s
Im off to measure temp/RH outside tent! I'll be back lol

I'd get one hygrometer for outside the tent and another one for inside the tent - you can buy them cheap from china on ebay, or fasttech, or aliexpress to tmart or dx.com
