Grow Mediums Feeding coco with only guano tea

Those are some high numbers in your solution. I've noticed with the organic line I use it has way high num too. More then synthetic nutes. Their comin along. Not sure what's got them a bit yellow. Sorry I have never made my own nutes. So I am no help there. But to me your bigger girls look hungry for p an k.
Little n too.

It's possible it picked up a different reading right after measuring the EC, it seemed to drop down to around 1000-1100 TDS by the time I fed it to them.

Ive noticed that after lowering the PH in the tea, it rises back up to 7-8 if left to continue bubbling. And that the TDS seems to drop with time, but idk I have only used it a couple times.

^ Ive been using the tiniest amount of lime (1/4 tsp or less) cause I thought they were experiencing magnesium and nitrogen difficiencies, since some the yellowing on the bottom and top leaves look different (top has leaves have green veins still).

not sure what is a good dose with the lime or epsom salts + gypsum. Will just keep messing around with it to find the balane.

Hey dankle been reading up and things look good. With teas its hard to determine what the ratios of npk are. A good marijuana deficiency chart is a must. Here is a link. http://www.growweedeasy.com/marijuana-symptoms-pictures. I use coco alot and the biggest key is maintaining a good ph range of 5.5-6.5 with a trend to the lower side. I also always add a bit of calmag because the action of the coco is to bind with the calcium and magnesium in the feed. Your ec would be high usually but we dont know the ratio npk so u have to use the chart to determine deficiency or lockout. Remember when troubleshooting, always rule out ph first by checking the first bit of runoff. Its the closest thing to accuracy you have in coco. Also when bubbling your tea, the added oxygen causes a increase in ph so you have to check that everytime you feed the plant.....keep up the good work.:d5:

thanks strakey, I've taken a few glances at that page, very helpful! I measuerd the runoff the otherday, it came out to ~7. Should the runoff ideally match the ph of the tea going into it? The ph seems to rise so fast after lowering to 5.8, do you think in the 10 minutes it takes to feed via pressure sprayer it is rising above optimum ph levels? Would the oxygen just from the tea being sprayed raise the ph?

TDS is reading about 1337 (okay a little less)
EC is reading 2746 microsiemen/cm

Right now I am mixing about 4-5 tsp of high N bat guano into the tea with 1-2 tsp high P guano, then adding supplemental P guano straight into the spray pump after feeding the youngins with the tea (since the P guano dissolves more or less and the N guano has small pebbles which clog the sprayer). Would anyone recommend lowering the N intake to the flowering plants or is it appropriate to continue feeding them nitrogen throughout the cycle?

pics are blue amnesia, red poison and mature blue amnesia with about 2 weeks left.

16 days later. probably beginning week 6. did a little defolation, just to get some more light to bud sights.

they're doing pretty good. red poison has been turning yellow again, not really sure why but its okay. blue amnesia's stalk is well thicker than the recently harvest blue amnesia in a 1 gal. looks like the nug formation is dense enoguh that we'll have some nice interesting colas!

am still battling fungus gnats though I dont think theyre effecting them too much. will stick with neem oil over neem seed meal
