New Grower Feeeed Me...........(?)

Hey everyone whats up? Just wonderin what I should do here.I want to keep my costs down as this is only really a tester grow.Is it true that usin tomato food serves as a decent feed for plants? The idea appeals to me I just wanna know if it works for u guys.Oh by the way i`m in Europe so any brand names you might supply will probably mean very little to me.
Also on a side note I`m very much the new guy and i haven`t been postin much but I`m hugely impressed at the amount of information available on this site, its been a massive help.

The best value nutes I've used so far is General Hydroponics maxi dry nutes but that may be local to The US....really the brand or purpose of nute can be overlooked if it has NPK in the proper ratio and contains any missing elements that aren't present in your growing medium...tomato food may or may not give you good results but my recommendation is for your first grow or two use a good quality nutrient for cannabis, it will pay for itself and you have less of a chance of failure (fail your first grow and might get discouraged enough to not try again right?) ...anyways...good luck
