In June of this year I’d traveled to an island in the Aluetian Chain of Alaska. I soaked some beans and faithfully left my soaked cubes in the heat of daylight on my dashboard for over a week looking for a sprout. I had to leave the island and dutifully planted the cubes into my 3 gallon airpots. I did see a hint of a sprout in a couple cubes.
I’d had some success with an outdoor grow the year before growing some 24 Carat. I was able to look in once in awhile and at least give the girls a drink now and then. This year however I left the watering chores to others, I left six 4 gallon pails of water from a local stream. Temperatures had ranged fro 4C to 19C (41F to 66F). When I got back in November three pails were still full. I regret the mistreatment and neglect of my unforeseen circumstances leading to malnutrition and likely dehydration resulting in a less than stellar childhood that carried on to old age.
I’ve since met a an island resident that assures me of a nurturing existence for the next run. That’s good news, I have no doubt it will be exceptionally stellar!
