Hey guys
Just started my First Autoflower Grow a few weeks ago(Day 29 while im typing this). The strain is "Think Different" by Dutch Passion, a sativa dominant autoflower strain (60% sativa, 20% Indica, 20% Ruderalis).
Setup :
I Grow in a 80*60*140 cm Grow closet i built myself.
The plant grows on "cocostar" coco under a 150 Watt HPS Light (lighting times: 20on/4off).
For nutrition i use the GHE Flora Series (Bloom, Micro, Gro) according to the GHE scedule.
I Water when the top soil is dry.
Temperature is between 20-25°C.
For this Grow i am using an Aprox 30 l perforated Bag and Not a pot. (wont Do this next time because of "mobility" issues)
Ph and EC Meter are the next thing i am going to get.
So.... Let's Start the Journal. I'll have to reconstuct the Grow until the current Day. So please forgive me if it is Not as detailed as my following Documentation.
Day one:
-Finally finished my Grow closet.
-Put one seed into a "jiffyEasy" for germination.
Day five :
-we have a breaktrough!
Day six:
-i think i have "twins". Two totally independent Plants from one seed(one big. One small) ?yay
(pics follow if i find them)
Day seven :
-have a waaaaay too long stem on both Plants
probably because of poor lighting during the First few days of Growing.
Solution?..
Well i came up with the idea to use some rooting Hormone for cuttings on the stem and then just plant the whole plant deeper when transplanting the plant into the big bag. So i punctuated the stem several times with a needle and then rubbed the rooting Hormone on.... Aaaaaaaaaaaaand IT WORKED!
P. S. : i See my First Grow as a fun little Experiment... So please... Let me try stupid stuff...
Day eight:
-looking good... Vetical Growth is a little slow.
Day fifteen :
-R. I. P little twin. Im sorry that the small Fan Fell on you. Wasnt my fault
-The other plant looks Ok. Had a little Problem with overwatering but it seems to be Ok now.
Day sixteen until twentyseven :
- still looking good i guess but Growth is a little slow i think.
Day 28:
-three leaves on one internode??? This plant seems to be a genetic wonder i guess?
Day 29 :
-decided to become a part of the AFN forum
- plant still looking good but in my opinion is a Lot slower Growing than it should be. Maybee the Stress i Put on the plant (rooting Hormone Experiments) is the reason for that. We will See how the Grow continues.
Two pics of the Plants right now will follow below.
have you got any suggestions for me?
what is a good ph/ec meter? it would be great if there is a combination of both you can recomend.
Happy to become a part of the comunity SARS
