What was your first car? My first car was something from Korea, the Pontiac LeMans. 1991 hand me down with a dash of rust. The previous owner, a relative, had made sure to do everything possible to it prior. Let their intoxicated friends joyride in it and sheer the bumper off, or hit a parked car for kicks before returning it. Multiple cig. burns. Someone took a knife to the inside and chopped the upholstery to the shell. She tended to tilt when turning. My first stunt, driving on just the left side, as I turn right.:headbang: She could reach lightning fast speeds of 60 mph before she started to rattle and shimmy dangerously. Real Cherry. :pass:

My first car I bought was an '86 Toyota Corolla with 64,000 miles on it. I was 16 at the time and had no idea how quickly my love for cars would increase. I now have a '16 Mazda cx-5 as my daily and a '14 Porsche Carrera S for a toy :)

My first car was a 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo. Thing was alllll hood. First thing anyone in high school would say when getting in it for the first time was "How do you see over the hood?!?!??!!" :smoking:

Nice 350ci in it that made it quick enough. But it was mid 70's heavy metal, so way too heavy to be overly fast. If I'd had the money and know how, tons-o-mods out there to get the HP out of the 350, but wasn't my thing at the time. Think it got a whopping 9mpg on a good day, going downhill, with a tail wind. Not a car for the fuel economy conscious. I swear to this day when you put your foot in it you could HEAR the fuel being sucked into the carb from inside the car. :baked:

Not mine...just an example from around the web...
