Hi folks :tiphat:

As the title says this is my first attempt at growing, well anything.
I'm growing two Critical rapido and it's only been a few days since they broke the surface so not a lot to go on so far.

I'm using Biobizz light mix with Biobizz grow and bloom
200w cfl light, its 2700k and if I remember reading right I'll need to go and get something in the 6500k range...just not sure how much Ill need to get for my two girls.

I'm not really sure I have a lot else to add at the minute lol but stay tuned

Hey, new life begins Muira,

Let me officially welcome you to growing stuff. So the "herb" gets to be your guinea pig ay? Ha ha ha. j/k.

Good to see you here my friend.

Hopefully we can see these kids get big. Great luck to you, and your Critical Rapido. Hopefully it will mean stoned rapido.

Peace

Eek

Hi! thanks:) Well I did have a spider plant when I was about five but not sure that counts haha. Everything is going good so far but only a few days in lol

Almost a week in now and things are going ok, started to notice the edges of the leaves curling up. I read that this could be a problem with heat, it was getting pretty warm in there hitting 35c +. I've managed to get and keep the temperature down and I've not seen the problem getting worse so hopefully that was it. I also didn't set my timer properly so they have been under 24/0, that's now changed to 20/4.

Howdy Miura, nice to meet you :)

Very nice looking couple of younglings you have there, won't be long till you have some monsters on your hands.

Yeah, I'd guess the curling's due to heat as well, a lot of Barney's strains handle themselves a lot better in a cooler climate. Hopefully your little temp fix helps her calm down, nothing to worry about though. I use CFL's as well and I always find my temps rise in the last 6 hours of a 20 hours shift so you knocking the schedule down to 20/4 should help loads :)

Looking forward to watching the rest of your grow

Hello folks,
Thought I should add an update to how things are going for me.
Well everything "seems" to be going well, at least to my newbie eyes...and my nose! lol, man these two are already giving off quite a powerful aroma that I was not expecting this early!
I've had to accelerate odour control and will be making sure that is in place BEFORE I start on my next one, live and learn eh.
The leaves curling seems to have stopped thankfully and some of the leaves have returned to normal, but a few refuse to, I guess it wont have much of an impact long term as its only a couple so all good.
I've given them some grow nutes at 1ml per litre a couple of days ago and they seem to love it! Which is good as I was worrying I had given them too much but I cant see anything wrong(yet)
I'm also wondering if I should be feeding them with every water, I've read people doing it with chemical nutes but unsure if the same applies to organic, hopefully one of you guys can steer me in the right direction :)
In the close up pic does the little green "hairs" means she is a girl?

Hello again folks,

Well think this is about day 22 lol shouldn't really smoke before I come on here.
Things are still pretty much ok I guess, the very bottom leaves of plant 1 turning yellow and crispy, dead pretty much I suppose. It is fairly shaded down there so hopefully it is just that, new growth seems to be normal and a wee investment in some smaller cfls for next time is called for.
Anyway, plant 1 has shown sex and is very much a lady and not shy in showing it, they are everywhere on her :Gold::-) I tried to take a pic but my camera is bloody awful.
Plant number two is doing fine not shown sex at all yet ,and is looking rather stretched.
I've fed them both 2ml per litre of grow and cant see any ill affect, starting to wonder when to start the bloom.

Anyway here come the girls...

Hi again people,
I'm on the look out for some help. I'm not so sure the lower leaves turning yellow is to do with it being shaded as its moved up a set of leaves to an area that receives plenty of light. The other plant isn't as bad but looks like it has begun to affect the it too.
I've tried to have a search to find out what is wrong but has just left me more confused!.
I've added some pics so hopefully someone can ease the worry for me.

Well after enough research to hurt my little brain , the closest I can find is nitrogen deficiency. If what I've read is correct that can be sorted out with a little more nutrients , so here is hoping I'm on the money lol
