Hey guys,

I'm about to order my first seeds after converting a section of my wardrobe and getting it all up and running and testing it all out.

I only have about 80cm grow height so am limited to the smaller growing auto's and have spent hours searching various seed banks and reviews. I have kind of narrowed it down to 3 - Star ryder or ak48 or the good old easy ryder.

What i am after is a decent smoke but a good yield mainly so it will last me the time it takes me to grow another then i dont have to buy crappy stuff of the street.

Just wandered if anyone had any experience of growing these or any other suggestions are very welcome.

Cheers.

Apparently Auto#1 is a fool proof strain with added yeild and taste from the lowrider strains iv just bought one but haven't started it yet. Also Northern Lights Autos supposed to be a nice easy but worthy strain for a for a first grow plus its a classic cross

All those are good, do yourself a "flavor" and look at the smoke reports on them and not just on the size itself. What are you looking for taste wise? citrus, skunk, etc? can't go wrong with the banks on the AFN banners. Top quality breeders like stitch, LBH, Cres (he has his own area and check the review section for info). Dragons are great for your application as well. :2cents:

Welcome to THE AutoFlower Network. The home of everything auto and all vibes good. I saw your thread over on the introduction forums and glad to see you made your way here!

I'd do as gearbear recommended and check out the smoke reports in the Strain Review forum and see what folks are saying. This is the best way to get an idea of what strain will be good for you. Blue Himilaya Diesel from "Short Stuff" is a great strain. Dinafem 60 Day Wonder is great as well and almost fool proof. World of Seeds Afghan Kush Ryder is a GREAT plant for a new grower and very forgiving.

Also, as gearbear said - don't concern yourself too much with size. I agree with this because you can control the size by carefully selecting the size of your pot and introducing bloom nutes when vertical growth is about 80-90% of where you want it to be.

Once you start your grow, I invite you to start a grow journal here on this forum so we can follow along on your grow and offer advice as needed. It's good to have so many extra sets of eyes on your grow, especially as a new grower because folks can see what's going on as it happens.

Look forward to hearing more from you on your seed selection, thanks for joining us!
