I guess I'm now an official member of the Mephisto grow club!

Here are my two Sour Crack girls yesterday at Day 50 (white pot) and Day 48 (black pot):

My camera died after the last shot (sorry pics aren't that good) but I wanted to take some more pics showing how different these plants are in spite of the similarity in height (14-15"). Maybe you can tell from these pics, maybe not, but one plant (white pot) has classic long, slender, sativa-dominant leaves and the other has the broader, stubbier indica-dominant leaves. They also developed very differently long before the root system would have "seen" any square/round pot differences.

Any comments on the different genetic expressions of SC? Are there a known number of common ones? Any opinions if there a difference in the buzz from these different genetic expressions??
They're in Roots Organics w/ lime in 3 gallon pots in a converted wine cabinet under 250w (or so) of CFL. Nutrients are FF Trio, Earth Juice Microblast, Cal-mag+, and molasses. I feed every watering based on appearance and texture of the leaves (no set feeding schedule.) I flush mid-grow with Sledgehammer.

My reactions so far? Very easy to grow. Quick little bugger, too. Very interesting and fun to grow. Cute (what, I actually used that word?). Short. Very resinous, tight buds

As for the odor ... it comes and goes. I am always happier when its gone.

BTW, I perpetually grow with a second cabinet (not filtered equipped) that has a Toof and another SC at 7 Days. After these, it'll be one or two Ripleys ...

Any questions, please ask away ...

I guess jep Youre in the Mephisto Club now Welcome Mate..... they look awesome....Bonsais that really Packed the weight if you ask me. Nice one and very Quick they look absolute Top for that Timeframe!!!! Good Job

Thanks for stopping by, medic. A real easy ride ...pics just don't do justice as to how thick the main colas are. I think these may go a bit longer than most SC as there is virtually no yellowing down below and they're still very thirsty at Day 51/49

Looking VERY good.
So that is what my Sour Crack could look like if I wasn't overfeeding and supercropping.

Any comments on the different genetic expressions of Sour Crack

I think Mephisto said it is an F4, so we have to expect some variation.
I hope they will further stabilize their strains when they have time, but I am glad to get their gear NOW.

Seem like every grower has been happy with the Sour Crack smoke regardless of plant characteristics. I hope you can share a smoke report comparison.
