Hello growers,

am about to start my first growing, i got the seeds automatic haze and royal kush from queen seeds, but here where i live we only have limited soils and fertilizers, i built the box and everything is ready to go but i cant find any of the recommended soils.

is there an alternatives, is there a soil or fertilizers which work on other plants which is similar to cannabis. here i cant talk about growing cannabis because it will get me in a big trouble, so if theres any similar plants which grow in the same way as autos please let me know.

what is available is peat moss potting soil but its doesn't have any description about the ingredients.
also i found a german soil which is called potgrond.
and a NPK Granual fertilizers for harvest.

please let help as am few steps from planting the seeds..

Thanks

If you are having trouble gettting some nutrients. Then how good of a smuggler can you be. ha ha ha

Just kidding.

You can order stuff online.

What country are you in, and if big, what part. then other's can help you in your area.

you can learn how to turn you regular store bought soil into a good viable soil, try to keep it organic if you can.

Let us know what you have availble as well, what kind of stores, etc.

Hope it helps, I iwll be back

i live in middle east saudi arabia, i tried all the stores in my city they all sell the same thing maybe due to our weather not many plants grows here, i tried asking the guys who sell them but i cant get into details,

as of what available these what i saw
- Potting soil universal
- peat moss potting soil
- potgrond h
- granual fertilizer NPK 12-12-17+2Mg0 +6s

this is all i could found ,, i will try to bring some liquid fertilizers in my next trip but am not sure when is that, but for the soil i dont think i can carry them because of the size ...

please help

Okay,

Mix three bags of potting soil, and one bag of peat moss, don't use the granular fertilizer, Use the liquid at half strength for auto's. You need more stuff, like perlite, and guano's.

Look up nutrients and things on your internet. Cannabis and Tomatoes need the same nutrients, basically.

Hoope it helps

If you are really in Saudi, I am going to give you the "Stones of the Forum" award for your courage.

now re your problem. You have plenty of sand there so you can substitute sand for perlite and the ingredients you list above will grow good weed but the soil needs to be airy and light. Tomato fertiliser will work well for flowering, and you can look online for details of how to make a nitrogen high fertiliser with your own urine. I am assuming it's an indoor grow since you mention building a box.

Another suggestion is for you to take a quick trip to Dubai, there is a superb garden centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. Perhaps you could look online they might have an online shop and you can order some supplies.

Welcome, good luck and be careful!!

Can you go with coco maybe order it off Flea-Bay then all you need is some worm castings and molasas and epsom salt strait water feed and organic.....if not peat moss is your best bet same deal with the above amendments.

Are you Really that fed up the hash? They could execute you over there for `growing`...wouldn`t it be easier to move/get a job in another country, which isn`t run by Felching Bastards! I guess you could use Tomato ferts or try making some `teas` etc, then grab some molasses and epsoms...
...I`m sure others will chime in mate with other answers (I`m still concerned for your health GS!) :peace:
Oh, btw...:welcome: :Sharing One:(it`s clean, I grew it m`self!)

Sorry Banana, but substituting sand for perlite is not good advise. Sand tends to compact the soil and rob the roots of needed oxygen. Plus it doesn't have the water holding capacity that perlite has.

Ganja, if you can find some good nutrients you can do what is called a soil less grow. Peat moss, perlite and dolomite, or garden lime. It won't provide any nutrients to the plant so it would be totally dependent on you to feed it everything it needs. Besides some good grow and flowering nutrients you would also need some calcium/magnesium supplement and a bloom booster like PK13.14 to give them some extra P and K in late flower.

I stand corrected. I read it somewhere and it seemed to make sense at the time. Thanks for the heads up was going to try out sand instead of perlite next year.
