Tent with lights heater and fan showing 84degrees
medium: OF mixed with Happy Frog. Half and half mix
600 watt HPS
small heater for when temps are cold out
4x4x7 grow tent


3/21
Planted seed. Started with a Super Haze photo. Auto Purple to follow this week
Water at 6.0 ph
Soil at 6.5 ph. Temp in tent around 82 deg..with 56% humidity. Left two 6" vents open to help get rid of heat. Watered soil before planting til I had drainage in tub under buckets


3/22
Closed vents. Soil ph is steady. Temp at 11:00 pm at 81...45%
Haze sprout is through the soil.
Lowered light about 6"


3/23
Morning temp at 78 deg with 47% . Super Haze is straight up with two sprout leaves. Ph in soil continues to be steady. Haven't watered in two days but soil checks to be fine.
Temp with light off after 21/2 hrs is 65 w/45%
Turned heater up a notch


3/24
Morning temps at 78 w/40% humidity. Pulling the bag seed out.
Added humidifier today and it brought humidity up yo 78% after three hours. Turned it off. Will check humidity later.
First nodes coming out of sprout leaves. Plant about 2" tall.


3/25
Temp at 8:00 pm is 81 with 64%. PH is still at 6. First node leaves getting bigger. Stalk looks thin. Gave plant a little drink. Trying not to water too much in fear of root rot. Not sure if it's enough. Humidifier working in tent. Going to give it a day or two


3/28
Temp at 7:30 pm is 82 degrees, 77% rh. Turned humidifier on when I got home when lights came on at six.added a little more soil. Plant is sprouting second set of leaves. Sprinkled a little water over new soil. It's been a week since planting and all looks good.
Temp when I came home with lights out was 65 with 75% rH.


3/29
Put Auto Purple in soil today. Seed cracked open but no root yet. Temp in room at 12:00 pm is 80 with 80% rH. Turned heater down a touch. Trying to troll temps without having to go up the stairs every day. Watered pit with Auto Purple in it
Temp with light off is 70.5 w/ 74% rH

I have the 600 watt HPS running at 18/6 in hopes that when the auto purple is finishing, the super haze will be close as well. Does it make sense to move all to 12/12 when auto starts her flowering?

Temps with lights off we're 66 degrees with 64% rH. New leaves show a little bit of curl but I think it's because they are new.
Temps at 9:00 pm is 75.7 w/58% rH. Gave the Super Haze a small drink....just enough to get the soil wet. Trying not to overwater and I want the roots to seek water below for strength. Light seems low but with the fan blowing, I don't feel any heat on my hand when holding it over the plant

Temps steady at 75 w/64% rH. Three leaves are curled up on edges. I think the light was too close. I moved it up a bit. I will check it in the morning to see if there are any changes. Watered her a bit. I still don't want to add too much water. Soil was a bit dry but much better now


4/1
Temp is at 76 w/ 58% rH. Soil moist but not wet. Leaves are still curled. I will check on her later when the lights come back on
6:05 p.m. Three leafs still curled...move light up to about twenty one inches. Removed small fan and put bigger fan in tent
8:00 p.m. Temp at 80 and rH is at 58%. Turned on humidifier for a few hours. I will turn it off before bed.

First set of five leafs sported and more vegetation all over the plant
Temp 78 w/68% rH
Watered plant more than I have yet

Temp got a little low without lights today 59degrees
Turned up heater a little
Tempo in tent is now 80 w lights on 64% rH
More new leaves today on branches and starting up main cola
Leaves still a little curled and new ones are also curled a bit
No spots or yellowing

Day 15

Leaf curling released after raising the light to 3' above plant.
Temp with light off is 67 with 56% rH.
everything looking good. Watching plant close. Going to flush soil before flowering and nutes. From what I have gathered, the OF sometimes builds up salt and gets nute lock so hopefully I will catch it before it happens. I'm hoping plant stays veg active longer than standard but we shall see.

I think we are on day 19 now. Temp today was 83 w/ 46% rH
Next I need to figure out nutes. I'm open to suggestions?

I'm coming up on the start of week three in my grow using a 50/50 mix of OF and HF. I have some black strap molasses which I haven't used yet but maybe someone can chime in on nutes they recommend? Fox Farms trio? Just big box nutes? Biobizz try pack? I really can't decide.
Any input?
