Hey all, I'm a fairly new grower, I've only been growing for about 10 months now and I'm on my second grow. I have a few questions on nutrients and the proper/optimal ratio of NPK. I know that nitrogen should be in lesser amounts than what it was in veg but I'm not totally sure on the best ratio. Right now, my NPK ratio is at about a 1-1-2.5. I'm not sure if this is good or not so any input would be greatly appreciated.
I'm using FoxFarms Planting Mix(The one with the fox on it), I have six three gallon containers and I'm using a scrog. I have three different strains going and all are sativa dominant(Skunk Haze, Super Lemon Haze, Kerala Krush). The water I'm using is just tap water. I always let the water(I also made sure the water contained chlorine instead of chloramines) sit for 48 hours to evaporate the chlorine before adding to my reservoir. I also have an air pump with an air stone pumping into my reservoir. I add some general hydro ph down to my reservoir once a week to keep the ph a little under 7. I'm using a 600W HPS on 12/12, 412 CFM fan running about 25% with a Can Filter rated at 400 CFM in a 4X4X6.5 grow tent. I also have an Exhale co2 bag which keeps my ppm at about 900-1100. Temp is stable at 79 and humidity at 45-60%.
I check ph after every feeding and usually ranges from 6.10-6.80 for all girls.

Also I'm on Day 10 of Flower

The nutrients I'm using:
Advanced Nutrients
Micro, Grow, Bloom
Nirvana
Big bud

i also have Bud Candy and Overdrive for later.

Botanicare Cal Mag

So I just fed my girls today and I gave them
5 ml cal mag
7.5 ml micro
7.5 ml grow
10 ml bloom
10 ml nirvana
1/4 tsp big bud powder(I'm using up some old stuff before switching the the liquid)

My feeding schedule looks like this:
1. Water 2 gallons of ph adjusted water to 3 girls.
2. Water 2 gallons of ph adjusted water to 3 other girls.
3. Water 2 gallons and nutrients to 3 girls.
4. Water 2 gallons and nutrients to 3 other girls.
Repeat

I had some deficiencies early on in veg so I had to water and feed more often. The soil was also drying out a little quick.

So this is how I have my setup. Any advice or comments would be appreciated, thanks everyone!

Sounds like a nice set up, do you have a thread of your grow?

I'd take a look at their website (AN) and see what their feeding schedule is and follow that. But I'm lazy and want things as easy as possible. :-)

Welcome buddy! Worth reading and bookmarking is Tang's "feeding schedule" and revised feeding schedule. Dunno if it was with the AN line but worth a read. Should be easy to find with the search here :)

I only use the AN line, and this is what I've been successful with (DWC grows only)

I start at 1/8th strength. So, 2ml per liter via the label, I typically use 15 liters of fluid per bucket, that would mean 30ml of whatever nutrient I was using, but I start with 3.75.

On week two (reservoir change) I double that, and I go up 1/8th until I'm at 900 - 1000 PPM's, and usually stay there.

Once I flip to flowering nutrients, I go back to 1/8th, and start the ladder over.
