I haven't grown for a while and was trying something new. I usually let seeds soak then plant in soil for germination. This time I bought some peat plugs to try, but they did not have directions on them. The question is do I let the seeds bust open then remove the seedling or do they stay in the peat plugs?

They are supposed to remain in the peat plugs. Roots will grow through the bottom and then the whole plug and seedling gets transplanted to soil.

Get a shot glass
Put water in it
Put seed in

Put on top of sky box or something warm
Cover with mug
Check in 12 hours if its popped if not check in another 12 if its floating try push it down so it sinks
Once it's popped you can put in in a paper towel to germ longer ( there's no need)
You should already of wet the pellet and it's expanded
Poke a lil hole at the top
I put the seed sideways but eact to there own nature should take over..
Cover it over
Put under light
Don't let it get too dry
After a few days
hey presto!!

Good luck :)

Thanks, I've already put the plugs into pots, was just wondering if seedlings would be able to root into plugs.
