New Grower Germinating in FFOF soil

Hey guys. Im new here. Been lurking for a while. I popped 3 Nirvana NL seeds in 3g pots 2 days ago. They are in Fox Farms Ocean Forest. No other nutes added. I've seen a post or two recently that said OF was too hot for seedlings. Do I need to pluck them out and get them into something different? One has already popped through but the other two haven't. Thanks in advance fellas!

If you can with out harming the sprout it's not a bad idea. If you can get the sprouts early into some plain compost in a party cup and tier plant those on top of the OF. That's if you've got the vertical space to add a couple inches to the pots. Were the seeds soaked or sprouted ahead of time? If you just dropped seed into soil they might not have even cracked open.

Yeah they were just dropped. Not soaked. I have two more that I put in paper towels to germ. I will get some lighter compost and do that this evening. I have a 4x4x7 tent they are going into. Might put them all in 5 gallon buckets. Thanks!!

Well I came home to all 3 of them sprouting and looking strong so Im going to let them do their thing. I put the other 2 in party cups in some MG seed starting soil. I will give the other 3 sprouts neutral pH water for a while and hopefully they will pull through. They appear to have good stems and are a lush green. Hopefully all 5 of these NL autofems grow to be big and strong. They will be under 4 6500k and 2 2700k CFLs. I'll maybe start a grow log and keep track of progress. Thanks for the help.

You should start a log. Then people will follow along and can help as needed. It's a good idea to only give water for a while and keep them happy

Thanks Torch. The will only be getting water for the first few weeks. Hopefully do as good as KushAddict did with his Nirvana NL. Similar setup except I am using CFLs and he used a 400w HPS. I've got 3 healthy sprouts and 2 more on the way.

Hey there! Yeah get some photos up be great to see how your getting on.... How many CFL's u running? Im 190w white and 215w red.... Maybe overkill so be good to see your setup and results

Right now I've got 10-23w 6500k in a hood setup. I used a 6 bulb bath vanity strip and constructed my own hood and reflector. Just bought a new house and don't have internet yet so it is nearly impossible to post pics on my Android phone. Typing is a real p.i.t.a. too. Out of the 4 I germed, 2 are a week ahead of the other 2. I have one that is stunted but was a very tiny tiny seed. I didn't really expect it to live but it is about 3 " tall with nodes and new growth everywhere. I'll try to find a way to post pics and create a log. Hoping for some good nugs by around Thanksgiving
