Doing grow in 3 gallon pots start to finish, no transplant. Any point covering pot during germination to create a more humid environment?

I cut a bottle in half and cover it yes. But I use a propagation dome and rooters now. Much faster. Some will tell you not to

I never done any of that.i just pop em in paper towel,pop em in dirt put em under lights and hang wet towels in grow area never getting below 52% humidity.done 27 like that and only lost 3 and they were all the same strain and breeder(not gonna mention)but them seeds molded and never made it out the paper towels.thats just how I do it ,theres many ways I just usually pick the laziest,haha
