Hey everybody,
I’m wondering if anyone can share some insight for adding silica to your feed. I’m growing in 5 gallon pots of coco, and I’m wondering how often I should be adding it to my daily feed, or if I should just be using it as a foliar spray? And how long into the plants lifecycle should it be used?

I can't remember who but they use a cheap brand from Amazon I think as a pH down. So every feed. That would get expensive with the posh brands. It's for strength so needed but I'm in soil so less important as it's in the soil already and I add a little with my first pot soak.

Thanks @Rollin_along! It’s actually highly alkaline, so it acts as a “ph up”. I read an article where one grower was using it as exactly that, but ran into a K overdose in the coco. I’ve been adding it into the feed for the first 2 weeks, but I would like to get some solid info as to when to use during the plants life, and/or how often.

Hi, I use a complete Line-Up of GH Products (Flora Micro, Flora Grow, Flora Bloom, Rapid Start, Floralicious Plus, Armor Si, Diamond Nectar, FloraBlend, CaliMagic & Flora Nectar). According to the GH Card I have you use Armor Si from week 2 - 10. You don't use it week 1, 11 & 12. Wk. 2 = 0.5 ml, Wk. 3 = 1 ml., Wk. 4 - 8 = 1.5 ml., Wk. 9 = 1 ml., Wk. 10 = 0.5 ml. This is per 1 gallon of water. From what I've read it also helps protect the roots from Larva .
Hope this is of some help.
