Girl Scout Cookies by FastBuds Indoor Grow

Started this in grow diary. Wanted to move it here to keep updated and readily visible. Due to less than stellar results on my first two grows using NLS in a living soil mix, I am taking a different approach on future grows.

Monday April 5th:
Girl Scout Cookies by FastBuds. Currently 10 days old in Solo cup. Transplanting today into 5gal fabric pot. Bottom 1/3 filled with Strawberry Fields with 2 Tbls of Cavern Culture (high P). Remainder filled with 50/50 mix of Strawberry Fields and Happy Frog with 2 Tbls (I know, I know...) NLS Autoflower blend mixed in for a little 'oommph. Will be using tap water pH'd to 6.2-6.5 and de-chlorinated and de-chlorimined using SeaChem Prime. Going inside Mars Hydro 2.3x2.3x5 grow tent. 4 inch exhaust fan with carbon filter, 6 inch oscillating fan and humidifier set to 60%. Temp running at about 80º. Feeding plan is to use Recharge and organic tea (no NLS in it!). Will see how she goes.

Completed transplants today. I sprinkled some 'Great White' on the roots when I transplanted. GSC in her final home and back in the tent. I had filled the pot about 3 weeks ago and watered with Recharge. I placed black trash over it and let it sit. Still moist today. I checked the soil PH before transplanting and it is reading 6.5-6.6. My first transplant.

Day 21. Growing like crazy. I have an outdoor Six Shooter by Fastbuds going outdoors and they were both started on the same day. The controlled indoor environment is definitely better than outdoors. Haven't given any water since day 12. I have some Recharge and molasses aerating right now. Possible water with this mix in a day or two. Right now she still looks happy. Will start LST at next watering in a couple of days. Bushy.

As a comparison even though they are different strains, they were started on the same day. Six Shooter outdoors and Girl Scout Cookies indoors.

Day 22. Fed 3 qts. Recharge & Molasses. PH'd to 6.4. Removed small early leaves from bottom of plant and removed some larger fan leaves that were hiding a bunch of potential bud sites. Performed some LST. Looks like I bent one stem down too far as it looks broken. She doesn't look too happy right now but will check again in a day or two to see how she's doing. Side Note: I water slowly until I get some run off at the bottom of the pot. I let the pot soak up the run off usually within 15-30 minutes, then put the pot lifter back in the pan for air flow on the bottom of the pot.

Not sure but now I’m wondering if I should have watered and waited a day or two before doing the LST or LST and wait a few days to water. Learning the hard way sucks.
