Extraction Going to be doing my 1st bho run, any help?

I just bought a little bho setup off Amazon . I got Ablaze 45g open or closed tube with upgrade pressure gage and stainless steel valves.

And the 1.5 gallon vacuum chamber.

Got some neon 11x butane as well. 1st off do I need to do 45g's or can I do half of that? Should I grind up bud, leave as buds, partly grind? Was going to freeze everything can I put in tube 1st then freeze tube? I read that if you purge with no heat its better to preserve terpenes, how long should you vacuum purge with no heat? Do I need a special parchment to blast onto? I'm sure Ill have more questions but thinks that's it for now. Any help would be appreciated. I plan on doing live resin when harvest is here so would like to do a run of dry stuff 1st.

The purging I’ve read u can tell by the product And the bubbles in it. With no heat it will probably take longer but I was seeing times of 48-72 hrs.

I have seen people say up to 96hrs lol, just looking for a ball park so before hand I know best time for me to start. I see some continuously release pressure and repressurize. Back and fourth seems like solid thought. I am not in a rush, just want to make best, cleanest product I can. Dont want to give to a friend and no good.

Yeah I’ve heard a few folks going longer but I think most were in that range and they used a little heat. So 96hrs no heat probably safe but see how it looks at like 72 then 80. Someone had really good photos of what it looks like with butane in them less butane in them what it looks like when it’s pretty much as clean as it’s gonna get. U couldnsee the bubbles getting smaller and less of them then clear no bubbles pretty much. Hopefully some master blasters will chime in.

Trying to keep myself at a pace but I'm fired up to get going! Sounds like a good place to start. Now I just need it to warm up so I can plant my butane tree, that shit is expensive lol.

Ok, stuff started to come already. I get it shipped to a friend then I got to get it. Oil came today, butane tomorrow. I dont have prime so they piss around getting it out lol. Thanks @GoAuto6 , have you ever made live resin?
