I am thinking that this little bugger that I found on my Sour Diesel is a Preying Mantis, but I could very well be wrong. Can anyone confirm or should I be concerned?

What part of what country are you in? I’ve never seen anything like that in my neck of the woods.

I second this, but could be a katydid too. Hard to tell but I’m leaning assassin bug cuz it’s cool to say.
When I lived in Phoenix, my yard was full of them. I don’t remember seeing one with that coloring, but it has the stripes.

I also initially though assassin bug AKA wheel bug. I'm not familiar with the look of juveniles which I think this is.

Wheel bug nymphs look incredibly different from full on adults. Mean buggers though either way.
