I've been wanting to get this thread up for awhile now. I love Fire Fox and since making the switch about 4 or 5 years ago, will never go back to Internet Explorer. I thought it might be helpful to share some add-ons that you find useful. Here's a few I use.
Ghostery - 100% effective at blocking trackers. It gives a small pop up window every time a new page loads and show who has been trying to track you. A simple click will add any new trackers to the blocked list.
Lightbeam - This app will show you who is tracking you. Since installing Ghostery, I get zero results showing here.
Ad Block Plus - Blocks advertisements on web pages. Very useful on pages that you visit frequently. Saves having to deal with unwanted advertisements.
FireShot - Screen capture utility that resides on your menu bar. Saves having to use an external program for screen captures.
Converter - Automatically converts measurements and displays them in parenthesis. Very handy here with some using standard and other metric measurements. Not 100% effective depending on how things are worded, but still very useful.
InFormEnter - Saves repetitive typing of common things like your name, address, email, phone number, etc. Very handy when filling out shipping and billing information.
NoUn Button - I'm right handed so using the back button on the left side is a PITA. This app allows placement of the back button on the menu bar.
PlainOldFavorites - Allows access of your Internet Explorer favorites through Fire Fox.
Ant Video Downloader - a handy 1 click video downloader that allows you to download videos from any web page.
