Greetings,
I am a relatively new cabinet grower, growing for about the last year and a half and having success finally supplying all I need for myself. I have found that I really, really love this hobby of growing with the added bonus of harvest time. I grow strictly autos as they work best for me in my cabinet. I have about 30 inches (76 cm) of vertical grow space in my upper cabinet section so I choose auto strain that do not get higher than 24 inches (61 cm). Some seeds banks list the height of their strains, some do not. I would be in appreciation if folks with experience could reply with some good auto strains that do not get higher than about 24 inches (61 cm) at most.

They are lots of autos that stay short heres some i got for you snowryder, hindu kush, lowryders i think to be honest the best thing to do is go on a seed bank and just have a browse at the autos for an idea of hieght as for the Auto Bubble i grew 1 out and she maxed well over 30 inch.. Another way to keep girls small is use smaller pots or LST them :smokebuds:

Agree with si... pot size has a dramatic effect on plant size but will also lower the yield.
However i've found that you can grow most strains in small areas if you LST them. Not only does this help keep the height of the plant down, if done well it can increase the yield
This is an excellent thread on how to get the best from LSTing your plants https://www.autoflower.org/f5/lst-hub-7811.html

Thanks Smokey,
That is a great LSTwrite-up. I have heard of LSTing before and read a bit about it but that article really explains it well. Tie 'er down, keep the tops even height, keep the light close & hitting most all of the plant. Cool. I may get up the courage to try it. I have some Dr. Feelgoods at 20 days. My biggest concern is how much you can pull the top down without it snapping the stem. I guess I could see how flexible the stem is and tie down accordingly. Thanks again.

You can make your plant obey height restrictions by the pot size! My cream caramel thread, I had 40oz soda cups from a convenience store and keep the less than 13" with no training and yielded about 15 to 18 dry grams a piece under a blackstar 240w flower! It's has a lot to do with your setup! Your pots, your lights, your ability to grow correctly and not stress the plant! A lot of things play a role! Lol hope this helps!
