So i know you can graft dif strains onto one plant. My question is, after you harvest one plant could you graft another branch or clone onto that stump in order for it to take advantage of the existing root system? In theory this would allow for a lot faster veg than replanting every harvest. Im a little slow so i dont mind any criticism:Cool:

Would the time that it takes to merge and all the stress not make it take just about the same time as just growing it?

good question, from what Ive heard it takes about a week for a graft to take, but its got a full 3gal of root by then? I dunno i guess im trying to figure that out too :tiphat:

I've been messing with grafting autos for a while now with no real success. The ones that have taken to the graft didn't recover from the stress. I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I plan on continuing my attempts but it really takes a lot out of them.

Thanks for the info, ill avoid grafting the autos until you get it down :smoke: How do you think it would work on the photo side?

Oh bro if you have the time and seeds then by all means go for it. I think a super auto would give a much better chance. I just don't have any super autos to give it a try with.

Even a sativa dom slow grower might work.

This place is all about exchange of ideas and experimentation.

Alright, well i got a chem dog thats flowering and a seedling "blue angel" maybe when i chop the chem ill try and stick that seedling in.

Any tips on grafting, or a link, I tried it once and didn't have too much success. Maybe use a rooting hormone?

Well so far the best advice I can give is graft them while they are young. Before they become to fibrous. Like right after they show sex. The sap they are so full of at that time really helps the heal or at least seems to. I only know this from snapping like 3 of em during the LST process.

Wrapping the stem with tape or plastic wrap prior to the bend works great to. Lessons learned since.
