Hey whats up everybody. Got a real nooby question lol. Put my Green o matic seed in a wet paper towel covered. Seed cracked in 2 days. 3 days later still no tail root, so a paniced and put it in soil half a inch deep. 5 days later still no sprout. So should i give it a week or so and see what happens or should i start from the drawing board again.

Leave it be... Just had a seed pop soil that took 14days! If it cracked it will more than likely pop... Don't water keep top moist water when pot is almost dry... GOM is one fun plant to grow! You'll be pleased and of ya let go longer than listed flowering time more than likely shell purple up for you!

I also just planted GoM today, as yoda said if the seed cracks then most likely it will sprout just give it time. I say if it takes more than 3 weeks to break soil then start over and try again Gl to you bro. Peace and Love.
I've also had plants where weeks would go by and nothing... I've searched cup very gently and have found sprouted seeds that did not pop as they were planted to deep... I've been able to a couple of times save the plant by removing being sure to keep "embryo" intact and replanting higher up... Just give it time brother!

If they are fem seeds and you know you'll be keeping her yea autos always do better straight to perm pot. If you have reg seeds than I use 1lt airpot till sexed... I guess half a dozen one, half a dozen of the other...

Sup yoda yea they are all fem. THis is my first grow bought 5 seeds 2 critical jack 1 berry ryder 1 auto afghan mass and one greenomatic. Started with the green o matic cause from what i read it seemed the easiest. Started practicing germing and sprouting regular bag seeds. I tried all the methods i found online. And witht he bag seed almost 100% of the time the wet papertowel method worked in around 3 days. So thats why i panicked when 5 days went by no tail root so i planted haha. Anyway just giving u a quick rundown have a ton of question but dont want to annoy or overwelm anybody lol. THanks again for responding everybody.

Some other growner face with this problem too, but I read someone has a seed , what come out from soil after 10 day. I think you should wait . What is the medium what you use? The seeds come from the Greenhouse or other supplier? GL Bro!

Yes I use this method. In a close aluminium box, what I paddig it with kleenex. A day give them water 3 times, and pour off the water,they dont stand in water just wet. After 2-3 days I finish, and put it to the soil. 1.5 day they shirk out from soil. Everything works well for me.
