GreeninNY grows Poison Bear from Jean-O's Genetics

Outdoor season is still dicey in NY but I planted some seeds and despite the cold temperatures, we have liftoff!

Day 01 breaking the soil!

4/11 is Day 01 for this outdoor grow... my nephews inlaws (no idea if theres an official term for that connection) heard about my growing and they made a special soil. this is a first test of their cannabis soil mix! i was gifted 5 gallons over the holidays and Im testing a few grows with it. a 3 gallon full, then some partial mixes in SIPS to renew for 2025 outdoor grows!

Day 34

Was away on family things--good ones! Graduations etc!

Theres been a lot of rain, so much! Its become the norm in my part of NY to have soaking wet summers the past few years. Hoping it starts to dry out.

Transferred to a 5Gal SIP with the custom soil mix and topped her off. GENDER REVEAL! Shes growing strong. Started feeding her Jacks Tapwater mix. She worships the sun when it dries out, and gets sad when its gray and rainy like everyone else.

I would think it should come back from that. Do you have a lowes or something with a garden center around? I use an animal deterrent I don't have a bottle of it around for the name off hand, but its a dry grainy powder that stinks that I spread around the garden that keeps out critters.

ive tried all kinds of things! even predator urine... the increasing rains seem to wash it away no matter what.

and, the deer went back for seconds-- the main stem was chopped away!! i planted a couple more seeds to re-start... they got this one and my backup... im keeping them on my porch as long as i can now!
