This is a DIY that Im having trouble with and need some help to fix.

Okay so in my DIY growbox the pot has pipes in the bottom for drainage. they fit into holes in the base of the growbox.

I had a problem when I was testing it and to fix it I used allot of tape because it was the only thing I could think of. It help for a few weeks but towards the end water statred to seep through and just collect in the growbox. this is no good, so I've been trying to think of a good solution but im coming up with NILL so im turning to you AFN community.

pvc glue is for a particular type of plastic - polyvinylchloride

I'd use a gel fast-set epoxy myself... one for wood, plastic , metal etc...

EDIT: let me add I'm not entirely sure exactly what you're talking about gluing?

So I looked around to find something affordable to solve this problem. Got a peace of scrap wood, cut to size, and screwed it to the bottom of the planter.

Then I cut two 1" holes in the bottom so that the pipes could be fastened in with acrylic latex calk. I kept the cloth bottom I figured it may increase the life of this planter but I taped the two surfaces together so the calk could create a good seal

I poured water in it today and swished it around for a few minutes didnt find any leaks, but put on a little thicker just to be sure.

Ready for my next grow!
