I cant help but notice now and then that a lot AFN members are into guitar, and I know its been done before but the last threads a year and a half old, and people pick up new instruments so if can be arsed post a pic of your guitar/guitars or any instrument if you feel like it, i'll start off
I've got a cheapo Yamaha acoustic a taylor gs mini and a Yamaha pacifica but I mostly play acoustic and this is my favourite guitar, its not expensive or exotic by any means but theres just something about it.
Its a prs se angelus Sitka spruce top and mahogany back sides, won it on ebay for 400 quid

Well I just got me a Epiphone acoustic, a basic guitar recommend by my local guitar shop. I just started learning to play last week And boy does my fingers hurt. This is the first instrument I have ever played. I am learning from Yousician. So far I am just learning fingering and fret locations so don't ask me to play you anything yet:headbang:

keep at it FA. I personally think I suck at it but I keep getting invites to sit in with a few people. it was little victory's for me and check out some of the youtube lessons. lots a free lessons there. check out Marty Schwartz. sells lessons but gives a ton away free on youtube. I have an epiphone electric that I am fond of

heres my main player. I have better made and sounding guitars than this 1 , but it feels right lol. nothing more than an inexpensive Chinese made "The Loar". based 1930-40's era Gibson/Loar guitars. mahogany back and sides with a sitka spruce top I believe. and used at $200 usd, I didn't get hurt. I do all my own set-ups as really there is no need to pay near 1/2 the amount I paid for it just to be un satisfied with the shop set-up. and I have a few more i'll get pics of later. Fender Tele's and a Breedlove acoustic

@elsamurai love that vintage look, shes a beauty mate. I would love a nice gibson someday maybe a j45 true vintage or a hummingbird, but just cant justify it at the moment. Have to say the taylors are fast becoming some of the best acoustics off the shelf.
@Fantasy Island hey mate stick at it the first few months can be frustrating but its so rewarding. Throw a pic of your epi up if you get a chance they make some great gear

I used to have my ESP EC1000 but I had to sell it back in the days so I could afford to take care of my wife... I played guitar about 12 years and then just that day I stopped and never did it again. I still compose and do music though! How about you guys? Doing songs? Being in a band making that killer track?
