Hey, Peeps :)
Like all happy drip system users, I religiously use Home & Garden's Drip Clean in the rez.
And, like most drip clean users, I cringe at the price....
SO, I was doing some research online, and "supposedly" there is a homemade substitute for Drip Clean, and it is easy:
10ml white (distilled) vinegar to a gallon of distilled water !!!

Has anyone used this DIY recipe?? Or, heard tell of its effectiveness?

Inquiring, thrifty, minds.....:dizzy:

some love

Well waximus I have no idea what your talkin about. Okay that's not entirely true.eWe use distilled white vinager around my place to clean any number of things. works good. But for drip emitters and an hoses I would think it works well enough.

I use something called revitalizer for my air stones. Phosphoric acid basically. Diluted of course.
Vinager may be better. Lmao

Pintrest that question. There are all sorts of home made recipes for stuff. Sorry not much help.

I dont see why not! At my work we use the white vinegar to clean off the machines that get serious chalk buildup. Works like a charm! We dont dilute it tho just use it straight up. Good idea tho but it might screw up your ph!
