Has anyone any experience with the use of hydrogen peroxide as an oxygen source for roots?

Save that for clearing out problems in hydro if you accidentally over do it it's easy to fry your roots. H2O2 gives off it's oxygen really fast so there is no long term benefit from it. Have a light airy medium and your roots should get all the oxygen they need.
