Lighting Halogen Lights!!!!!!

Ok so I'm on a budget and today I saw some halogen lights, the ones I bought says 532w 1050 lumens 2850k and It says its the same eqivilent as a 75w incadesent light bulb I bought four. Has anyone ever tried them please tell me your outcome I just bought my seeds and I'll get them in a week But before I grow I must know if I need to take these back and get different ones.

2800k color temp is on the red side of things. That's all I know. Never heard of any using halogen lamps... good luck.

take those back...65 watt 2700 cfl's are 12 buck's at home depot.....they have the wrong light spectrum....

halogen bulbs CANNOT GROW any form of CANNABIS! get ur loot back brother! the only thing that they are good for is doing construction in the dark, or burning down ur house! Holler

yeah... halogen... might as well be a space heater... very inefficient at producing photons of light... very efficient at producing infrared spectrums.

This, next time check before you buy a bunch of lights. Halogen bulbs produce WAY too much heat and not enough power in the form of lumens. Return them if you can, do not try to grow with them.
